Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have "always wanted" another child and are hoping for a little girl this time around.
Joint Family for a Healthy Living
For a joint family to work the members need to adjust and adapt to the changes. They need to be more considerate about each other and the elderly should give more space to a new generation.
Advantages of living in a joint family
Emotional and psychological support: A joint family is more than living together. Here people share each other’s feeling and provide emotional and physiological support even in times of crises.
Care of Children: Children in a joint family are brought up under the care of the elderly who give equal love to each child. They give equal things to children which inculcate in them the value of sharing. They act as quasi-parents and take care of children when both parents are not there. This is utmost essential for couples who are both working. They know that they won’t have to leave their kids in a crèche rather they would be looked after by people who take care of them most. Also, the children have cousins of their age to play with and to share their feelings.
Distribution of labour: Members of joint family share work and hence there is less burden on a single person. According to Arti, “I and my sister-in-law take turns in dropping kids to school, buying grocery and cooking food. If I cook food for the entire day than my sister-in-law will drop children to school and will get them back to home and will also buy vegetables and other items on her way back and otherwise it would be wise a verse.”
